On the official Twitter account of the anime implementation of “No Game No Life”, it was recently announced that the series will return to Japanese television next month after more than four years of absence. We have summarized the details below.
No Game No Life back on TV from July 2021
“No Game No Life” will be shown again on six television channels in Japan from 7 July 2021, including TOKYO MX, AT-X, and BS11, among others. It will be broadcast weekly until 23 September 2021, when the series was last shown in spring 2017.
Even if many fans already express hope for a continuation of the anime under the tweet about the announcement, it should be borne in mind that repetitions such as in this country are not uncommon on Japanese television. Tokyo MX and AT-X in particular often show older titles in their anime program. An announcement about the series was also not hinted at.
The first broadcast of the fantasy anime, which was directed by Atsuko Ishizuka (“Hanayamata”) at Studio Madhouse, took place between April and June 2014. A prequel film entitled “No Game No Life Zero” was released in Japanese cinemas in July 2017.
